Did you know?
From the Desk of Mrs. Herman:
In this month of Halloween, let's talk about some scary stuff, shall we?
Are you afraid of the dark? Seems many at Lincoln are, judging by the number of times I've see Smartboard projectors on in empty rooms or when you are using SB for a lesson. Please turn off your projector when you are not using it. For the white Epson projectors, there is a button on the remote call AV Mute. Press it once to turn off the projector bulb. But if you hold it too long, you will be tricked - your image on the screen will flip upside down. (If that happens, just press and hold the AV Mute button until the image rights itself.)
That crashing sound you might here is the sound of teacher hard drives going to their grave. The dreaded flashing question mark has visited the staff at least 5 times since the beginning of the year. With the advent of Google docs, we're not losing as much information as days past but you still need to backup your information on a regular basis. If you need help doing that, you can see either me or Megan.
Student chromebooks are still coming in for repair at a high rate that gives me the shivers. Please continue to remind them to secure the chromebook in it's case, not leave them on the floor in high traffic areas and be respectful of school district property.
