We're going walking in a winter wonderland in CAPP this January! This month we will use winter-themed activities to learn about different musical concepts, visual arts, dance and tumbling concepts, and preschool learning targets in a fun and engaging way.

Here's an overview of our learning targets for January:

Music- I can identify the way music makes me feel.

Visual Arts- I can learn about and create art in the style of Vincent VanGogh.

Language Arts- I can name the characters in a story. I can identify things that start with the letters A, W, I, and E.

Math- I can categorize objects by size.

We present our learning targets as "I statements" so that the students internalize concepts, share in the ownership of their learning, and develop a positive inner monologue.

Starting June 6th, CAPP will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm at both our Aubrey/380 and Celina/Preston locations. Currently enrolled students and their siblings who enroll before January 31st can lock in the tuition rate of $394 (a monthly savings of $84 and annual savings of over $1,000!) for June 2023-May 2024, and all families who register in this timeframe will enjoy a $150 event credit to use throughout the year, a free CAPP uniform shirt, and a credit for free ballet shoes. Invite your friends to learn more about the Creative Arts Preschool Program by attending our Sip-and-See event on Wednesday, January 25th. Parents can drop children off in the CAPP classroom to enjoy exciting learning activities, then grab some refreshments and take a tour. New students who enroll before January 31st will save $200. As mentioned in the Welcome Slides, please no food treats for birthdays or other celebrations as we have students with food allergies and dietary restrictions. We appreciate your help in keeping everyone safe and healthy.

Just a reminder, pickup is promptly at 1:00. If you are going to be late for any reason please text or call the studio at 469-202-4581 and let Dena know as soon as possible.

Our late pick up policy is as follows:

First time, 10 minutes or less: Parent will receive an email reminder of the late pick up policy

First time, over 10 minutes late: $1 per minute (11 minutes = $11)

Subsequent times: $2 per minute after 5 minutes (6 minutes late = $12)
