It is my hope that you work with your child at home each night on reading and math skills for all grade levels. We need our students to feel confident in these areas so that they can deepen their understanding in all areas. All students in grades 3-8 should know multiplication facts. All students should be able to read on their grade level. It takes all of us working together to help make your child successful in the classroom, home, and life. Thank you for your help with this matter. Set some family goals with your children that pertain to academics but also life. For example: Read one book per month as a family, spend time playing board games, exercise as a family, etc.

Ask your child what their goals are that they have gone over with their teachers.

Readers are Leaders!

Mrs. Peppers & Mrs. Tanner challenged their students to read 100 books on their grade level to get a chance to throw a pie in their face. It was a fun and messy challenge that the students accepted. It was a great day for everyone!!!

St Patrick's Day Fun

I want to say 'Thank you" to Chickamauga Card My Yard (CCMY) for supporting our school for every special event and holiday. Mrs. Kelsey Dodd is a wonderful business partner and parent. We have been truly blessed by this partnership and we appreciate all that she does to help promote our school. Mrs. Abney & Mr. Varnell's Kindergarten Classes walked out to take a picture with our latest sign provided by CCMY. Ms. Kirkendoll's Pre-K decided to join in the fun as well. These are such special photo opportunities for our students and our school.
