Anasazi (ancestors of Pueblo)
Created dams, ditches, and canals to take rain to gardens on the canyon floor. Houses made of adobe and stone. Most population of Chaco Canyon was in Pueblo Bonito where it is more than 1,000 people. Pueblo Bonito built roads for trading networks. the most popular art and architecture groups were the Hopi and Zuni.
Adena (Know as the Eastern Woodlands people)
Stayed in the Ohio valley region. Farmed squash, sunflowers, gourds, and barley. Produced copper jewelry and pottery. Burial mounds are made of log structures.
