Magnets

Magnet
Magnets are use for many things like experiments or electricity and magnets attract to iron but not all metal can stick to magnets. When you get a magnet and dig it into the sand it picks up tiny iron. Also when you get to other magnets and try to make it attract on the north side and south side it sticks, but when you try to attract the same pole it repel even if you try very hard it pushes away.Magnets come from a special rock called magnitude. The metal that are attracted by magnets are iron, nickel, and steel. We need magnets to work generators that produce electricity.A magnet produces a magnetic field that extends in all direction from the magnet.

This is how it looks when you get a magnet into the sand.
