The Boston Massacre

The Boston Massacre was a riot between British soldiers and citizens because they did not like how some soldiers have to live with them. Then citizens started to throw objects at the soldiers like snowballs, rocks, and sticks. The more violent riot didn't happen in tell 50 citizens attacked a British Sentinel, Then Captain Thomas Preston sent extra soldiers and they were attacked to. So that ended up as 8 people getting hurt and 3 people were killed by british soldiers. After the fact the town had a meeting about the removal of the British and Trial of Captain Thomas, but 2 people named John Adams & Josiah Quincy ll defended the british leading them to release. The Boston Massacre Was considered to be the first battle of the Revolutionary war, The governor Evacuated the army and led to the revolution to armed rebellion.

The Boston Tea Party

The Boston Tea Party Occurred in 1773, Dec. 16. The Boston Tea Party was a protest/disagreement on how high the taxation was on tea, It also happened because of that reason, people were getting mad about taxation on tea. Because of that it caused John Adams and The Sons of Liberty to Dress up as Mohawk Indians and dump all the tea off the boats.The three ships that caused the damage was the Beaver, Dartmouth, and Eleanor, because of that the original location is destroyed. Over all this occurrence caused the bad part of the bad part of the revolutionary war.

The Daughters of Liberties

The Daughters of Liberty were a group of 92 women who protested against British taxes and made their own goods at home instead of buying them. It Was established in 1765, It consisted of women who displayed their loyalty by participating in the Boycotts of British goods. The Daughters of Liberty were a very successful group and eventually got there ways. The reason this started was because they did not agree with the taxation.

Boycotts

boycott is refusing to buy british goods. The boycott of British goods led to the American Revolution.The British taxed the colonists because they needed to get needed to get money to pay back the people that they borrowed money from. The Stamp Act was essential to the Boycott of British goods because it was the first direct taxation on the colonies also happened with english colonies.
