March 2016....Happy Spring and Happy Spring Break! Here we go!
Words From Our President...
Math challenged! Yep, that's me! So, let me give you some numbers: 2,267 and 458 and 1,809. What do these numbers mean?
Here are some clues to help you do the math. You could be a part of two of the numbers. No one can be included in all three numbers. Some of you might not be in any of the numbers.
Math challenged! Have you figured it out whether you're in one of the numbers?Over 2,000 people are included. Why am I concerned about these numbers? By June 30, the 458 must equal 2,257. The 1,809 must be zero. We have approximately 90 days to make math magic!
Math challenged! Have you figured it out? These numbers could contribute to your health. In fact, 2 of the 458 are particularly grateful. Why are they grateful? Have you figured it out?
Math challenged! In fact, I am reminded of a picture book authored by John Scieska and illustrated by Lane Smith entitled, "Math Curse."
Math challenged! Let's repeat. "They say" repetition helps. That's why math homework exists. Let's revisit the numbers of 2, 267, 458, and 1,809. What do those numbers mean?
Math Challenged! Drum roll, please! We have 2,267 employees and spouses covered by our health insurance plan. Those same 2,267 people need to have their physical completed by June 30. The good news is that 458 people have submitted their physical, but the bad news is that 1,809 folks covered by the plan have not submitted a physical. Approximately 90 days remain to meet this goal.
What about that number 2 that I mentioned earlier? We have two people who credit the mandated physical with discovering cancer in early stages. Those two people express much gratitude.
Math challenged! I am covered by the 458 number as I had my physical in August. Won't you join with me? A physical can save a life. However, it has not cured my math ability or lack thereof!

It might be too late for this spring break trip time, but remember it the next time you're booking a trip - even for some upcoming summer fun! Just click on the words above for the link!
