From over 30 majors and 100 programs SOU offers a dedicated staff who are ready to help you succeed. Standing proudly, SOU is established in the beautiful city of Ashland Oregon. The University offers an extremely successful psychology and criminal justice program. In fact over 475 undergraduates have obtained their degree in psychology. The cost of attendance for a resident undergraduate to attend 3 terms is $26,316. The student-faculty ratio is 19:1.To join SOU you must apply online. Requirements include GPA of 3.31, and a SAT score of at least 1012. Enrollment is 6,856.

Available Volunteer Work as Training for Law Enforcement
Grants Pass Oregon offers opportunities within the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety known as explorer programs. One of these programs includes the job of a public safety/community service officer. Community service officers are responsible for enforcing city ordinances such as parking violations, noise violations, animal control, transient camps, etc. as well as working alongside Police Officers within the city to assist in day to day activities. The position can be either full time or part time and comes with a salary. The program is an excellent way to serve your community, gain some money for college, and learn fundamental law enforcement duties without the stresses of a Police Officer.
