Join Us for a Free Drive-Thru Book Pick-Up
Summer reading is an important way to help your child transition to the next school year. With that said, Lombard School District 44 is offering a “Drive-Thru” Book Pick Up from 12:00pm-5:00pm at different schools on the days listed below.
Our Literacy Support Specialists and Title I teachers, along with the Director of Grants and Literacy, packaged over 12,000 books to pass out to families, which will be provided to you in a bag packaged based on the grade level of your child. A variety of books will be given to families, including sets for our bilingual families, dual language program, and middle school.
Just drive-up during your designated time and location below with your child's current grade level on a sheet paper in your window, and we will take care of the rest!
Also, there is no need to return the books, all we ask is that you continue the love of reading throughout the summer.
If you are unable to make a pick up at your home school, no problem, stop by another school and pick up a set of books for your child(ren). Current Middle School Families: Please visit one of the elementary schools for book pick up too!
