NJ Mock Election
February 9, 2020 will mark the centennial of New Jersey becoming the 29th state to ratify the Nineteenth Amendment, which granted women the right to vote.
Late next week, we will be joining NJ and https://njmockelection.org/
The ballot question asks whether New Jersey should eliminate the time change in the fall and require that the school day start no earlier than 8:30 a.m.

February is Oral Health month!
Reminder: Your children can get access to free dental care on Friday, Feb 7th through the Give Kids a Smile Day program.
On 2/4/20, Berkeley students were visited by Dr. Ethan Glickman, DDS, the Oral Health Educator from the New Jersey Children’s Oral Health Program, Zufall Health Center. His lessons taught oral health, dental care, gum care, proper brushing, safe use of dental floss, healthy snacks for maintaining oral health and dental safety. With jump ropes and children acting as teeth in lines, proper flossing was demonstrated and some students even got to brush Ollie, the stuffed dog's big white teeth.
