The Mola Outfit forms part of the traditional costume of the Kuna woman. Our shirt that we are featuring is the Mola Blouse. The full costume, though, traditionally includes :
- A patterned wrapped skirt called a saburet
- A red and yellow headscarf called a musue
- Arm and leg beads called a winis
- A good nose ring called a olasu
- And earrings called a dulemor
Where the Mola Blouse Originated
The mola blouse originated in San Blas Islands in Panama. It is also called the Comarca Kuna Yala, which is named after the Kuna people.
