The moment you get off the bus, maintain a high level of focus and remember why we are here. All of your hard work is leading up to this performance, no mental lapses can occur.

12:10 PM Move to Stage
When moving from the warm up room to stage, move quickly, carefully and quietly. It is important to maintain focus at all times. All single reed players will need their mouthpiece cap and their reed case. When entering the set up on stage, stay standing until a director instructs you to be seated. Once seated, adjust your stand to the proper height and angle and await further instructions.

PLEASE DO NOT SCHEDULE ANY MAJOR DENTAL/ORTHODONTIC PROCEDURES UNTIL AFTER MAY 20TH
If you take a look at our competition schedule, you'll notice just how busy it is, with a major event every 2-3 weeks.
Now that our competitive season has started, it’s important that all band students stay in playing shape for the entire semester. Please do not schedule your students to get braces or have any major procedures done until the end of the semester. These can take your students out of playing shape for several weeks sometimes as they learn to adjust the way they play and get used to the braces. The best time to do this is over the summer!
It’s also important to make sure you don’t have braces tightened within a few days of a performance as that will affect your students pretty dramatically as well.
THANK YOU TO OUR BAND SPONSORS!
