Tips for Healthy Habits

Please see the attached document for tips on promoting healthy habits for the upcoming flu season.

Student Safety in the Mornings

We are concerned about the safety of our students before school starts. Students should not arrive to school and should not be dropped off at school prior to 8:30 am. There is no adult supervision prior to 8:30 am unless your child is enrolled in our Before Care Program (Kids Club).

If your child needs to arrive early, you may want to consider enrolling your child in our Before Care Program. You can find more information on the program at the following link.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Last Week for Lost & Found

All Lost & Found items will be donated during the holiday break. Please have your child check the Lost & Found over the next week for any items that may belong to them.

Sock Donations Needed

The 1st grade Daisy Troop is helping out the Homeless Memorial Service in Detroit, Michigan. This is a non-profit connected to Advantage Health Centers. Our Troop is asking if any Winchester students can help out in the next week with a sock donation.

Homeless Memorial Service is in need of SOCKS only - Women and Men - Size M, L, XL.

Troop 40603 will have a bin in the lobby of Winchester Elementary until Wednesday, December 21, 2018.

We are looking to provide enough warm socks for 250 participants. We have many donations at this time but would like to add more for our delivery next week.

Thank you for your donation!! ~Daisy Troop 40603~ If you have any questions please contact Melissa:

The program runs for 6 weeks, and an award ceremony is held at the end.
