Week of September 16-20, 2019 at Walter Turnbow Elementary

Dear Turnbow Families,

I am looking forward to getting to see each of you next week when you come in to meet with your child's teacher. Remember, our students are involved in the conferences so be sure to bring your child with you when you come! Our teachers are excited to get to share with you all they will be learning this year as well as ways you can partner with them to help your child grow in reading and math.

I appreciate all of you that are getting your child to school each day! I tell kids each morning on announcements that I want them at school EVERY DAY - ALL DAY. Thank you for scheduling doctor and dentist appointments after school so your child can get as much of the instructional day as possible! We have so much to teach them and they have so much to learn this year!

Have a wonderful week and stop by the office to say hello while you are in the building for conferences!

INNOVATION STATION

Our kids are guiding their own learning as they explore items in our Innovation Station. They are learning great skills as they explore, ask questions, wonder about how things work, and collaborate with their classmates about their creations! Come check it out!
