Graduating Seniors from Albert Lea High School take over the radio station! Talk about school, class memories, and what you plan to do after graduation. Make the show personal for your classmates and community.

Due to COVID-19, we are going to have to switch to a more digital program this year. We will be recording the conversations at a to-be-determined date and time. We will be using the Zoom platform for the interviews. We are looking for a maximum of 8 seniors who are willing to spend an hour sharing their favorite songs, memories, and plans for the future. We look forward to keeping this tradition going for the Class of 2021! The interviews will air on Power 96 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7.

Riverland Community College is offering on-campus visits and tours for those wanting to meet face-to-face and check out the RCC campuses. RCC is following all safety protocol, including masks, sneeze guards, social distancing and regular sanitizing of offices and public areas. For those who are more comfortable meeting in a virtual setting, RCC will continue to offer virtual meetings and tours.

Riverland Community College is also offering three Campus Visit Day events in April

Campus Visit Day appointments will include one-on-one time with an admissions specialist, a tour (if desired), and a Riverland swag package.

Students can make an appointment for either an individual visit at a time and date that works best for them or a Campus Visit Day appointment at www.riverland.edu/visit.

R-STEP is a free, eight-week program for high school juniors and seniors that increases Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) knowledge and skills through:

• 8 credits of college-level courses like Math and English
• Topics in Tech, Engineering, Ag, and the Environment
• Applied research learning and enrichment
• STEM-based activities and events
• Special guest speakers
• Field trips, and much more.
