Hernandez Middle School New Principal Dr. Patricia Ephlin
Come meet Dr. Patricia Ephlin, Wednesday, December 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the Library.
It is with honor and great pleasure that I greet you as the new principal of Hernandez Middle School. I am excited to begin my work building on a culture of innovation and helping our students become lifelong learners.
I have had the opportunity to grow as an instructional leader during my 23 years in education and have had the privilege of serving the Stony Point Learning community for 11 years, including a total of three years as assistant principal of Bluebonnet and Wells Branch elementary schools, and most recently at Robertson Elementary School as the Principal for the past 11 years. Round Rock ISD has given me ample opportunity to grow which has shaped me into the instructional leader I am today. I have a passion for the Stony Point Learning community, and I am eager to continue my journey at Hernandez Middle School.
I will officially begin to serve the Hernandez Middle School community in January after we return from winter break.
My husband, James, and I have two daughters, Samantha and Paige and we are all thrilled to be a part of the Bulldog family! Building lasting relationships is at the forefront of my goals as I join Hernandez Middle School and I look forward to meeting each of you as we work together to build a positive and academically centered school for our students.

On Wednesday, Nov. 7, two representatives (Jessica and Erin) from Well Aware linked our 7th grade Science students with Well Aware's technical team and hydrogeologist currently in east Africa.
