WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH CARPOOL

Parents, we have noticed an increase in unsafe behavior during carpool. Our biggest concern is not how quickly carpool drop-off and pickup goes but how safely it goes. Please only drop off and pick up students in the designated areas.

DO NOT DROP OFF OR PICK UP ANYWHERE ALONG PATRIOT RIDGE DR.

Even though carpool may be moving slowly, it is not safe to unload or pickup on a street where there is no designated shoulder (and it's illegal). Students end up running through the parking lot and the Police have instructed us to take a picture of your license plate so they can cite you.

Volunteers Needed to Host Visiting Teachers

PHJH will be hosting two, female student-teachers from Taiwan from March 21-April 13 and we are in need of families who can provide a place for them to stay during this time. Each family will receive $200. If you are interested in hosting one of these teachers please contact Amanda Conklin,

Big picture

Immunizations for upcoming 7th graders

ATTENTION PARENTS OF CURRENT 6th GRADERS:

This is just a reminder that your 6th grade student will need to receive 2 immunizations before entering 7th grade next year. If you are taking your child in for a well-child check, be sure to ask about their 7th grade immunizations, specifically the Tdap booster and the Meningococcal vaccine. Once your student receives these, please bring in a copy to the school. If your 6th grade student has an exemption you will need a new one prior to 7th grade entry. If the school has not received these records before your student starts 7th grade, they WILL BE excluded from classes. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. Thank you so very much.
