November 1: FAFSA Night at 6 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium. Bring your 2015 taxes if you would like help after the presentation.
November 2: Eastern Oregon University will be visiting the Career Center at 7:30 a.m.

* Teachers will be in main gym unless otherwise noted in red* Report Cards will be distributed in the lobby of the main gym for parents to pick up. * This is an open table format please keep conferences to 5 minutes if you feel you need more time please schedule an appointment with the Teacher.

We will be having a pumpkin festival in the Capital cafeteria/courtyard on Wednesday, November 9th from 7-9pm. We will have several games and autumn-themed activities. Admission is free with 2 canned food items.

Capital Lunch Intramurals
Boy's Basketball Tryout Information
The Boy's Basketball Program will be holding tryouts for their three teams (Varsity, JV and Sophomore) on Friday, November 11th (4:00pm-6:00pm) and Saturday, November 12th (9:00am-11:00am). Teams will be announced following Saturday's tryouts.
All players in grades 9-12 are eligible to tryout. Please make sure you have your Athletic Registration forms completed prior to tryouts.
Pre-Season workouts are going on now, for those not involved in a Fall Sport!

Capital Debate Team
The Capital Debate team competed in their first tournament of the season last weekend (10/14 &10/15). The kids had a great showing and I'm excited to see where the season takes us. Special congratulations goes out to:

2nd Tournament of the Year (10/21 & 10/22)
Three Capital students attended the Patriot Debates hosted by Centennial High School, and each of them came home with a trophy! Please congratulate Carson Lloyd on his quarter finalist award in Lincoln-Douglas debate and a huge congrats to Katie Lotz and Brandon Hemphill for tournament champions in policy debate.It's a great day to debate #LikeAnEagle
