Ms. Crisp's Weekly Newsletter

Finally Happening!

It's been on my to-do list since the beginning of school, and finally, with a lot of help from our wonderful Teacher's Assistant Mrs. Bridger, a weekly newsletter has been started and will go out on Monday each week! Look forward to announcements, reminders, content, wishlists, and all kinds of other great things from this newsletter!

Thanks for being patient!

What Are We Learning This Week?

  • Daily 5: Working on summaries, theme vs. main idea, and as always, building up stamina to be better readers and writers.
  • Reading Groups: It varies from group to group, but mostly the groups will begin vocabulary Monday or Tuesday.
  • Science: Finishing up our unit on the human body. Make sure to study that sheet to ace the test on Tuesday!
  • Math: We are using skip counting and grouping to learn multiplication.

A Quick Reminder

Remember to be checking your student's homework folder every night for forms that need to be signed, flyers from the school with helpful information, and of course, homework!

Wish List

We can always use more snack! Some great snack options are:

  • Goldfish

  • Bag popcorn

  • Animal crackers (not frosted)

  • Veggie straws

  • Pretzels

  • Fruits and veggies (dried or otherwise)

  • Individually packaged snacks, like granola bars or portion bags of popcorn

  • Any kind of healthy snack that I can give out to the whole class!

We also are beginning to run low on:

  • Paper towels

Thank you for your generosity!
