Student voice for the TTSD School Board
Attention all 2022-2023 TTVA Juniors & Seniors -
The Tigard-Tualatin School Board is accepting applications for Student Representatives to the Board for the current school year. Being a Representative is a unique opportunity to learn about the district and education in Oregon while also bringing your student voice to decisions that the Board makes.
Meetings are generally held on two Monday evenings each month, and there may be opportunities to be involved in other committees.
See the email from Mrs. DeWolfe (jdewolfe@ttsd.k12.or.us) on November 8th or contact her if you are interested or want more information about the role of Student Representative. Your application is due no later than Friday, November 18th.
Please consider applying!
Sincerely-
The TTSD School Board
Family Partnership Days (Fall conferences)
We are excited to partner with families in their student's education. Family Partnership Days (Fall conferences) give us the opportunity to connect with you to talk about your student's learning and growth. Each teacher has a unique link where you can sign up for a virtual conference.
You can find the list of teachers and links HERE.
Once you click on the link for a teacher, it will take you to their personal booking page. Find the date and time that works for you, enter the necessary information and then click "Book" to reserve your time.
Family Partnership Days:
Monday 11/21 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Tuesday 11/22 from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
We look forward to seeing you online next week.
Progress Reports now available in ParentVue/StudentVue
TTVA is on a semester grading system. This means that the grades entered for Quarter 1 are progress grades. Final grades will be given at the end of the semester on February 2nd.
Because TTVA uses a flexible schedule and dynamic small groups you won’t see attendance class by class. Instead you’ll see your student’s cumulative attendance at the bottom of the report. Please support your student in attending each required live session to ensure they have good attendance and are getting the content and support they need to be successful.

Excused absences include:
- Personal illness, medical, psychological and dental care
- Illness or death in the family
- Family emergencies

- Pre-arranged absences
- School sponsored activities
Use Canvas to enter live class sessions
As a best practice, you should log into the Canvas card for your class each day in order to get the link for your live class. These links may be updated for a variety of reasons, like having a substitute, so it is always best to enter a live class through the Canvas card.
