Fire Up Your Fall - Let's Rock the 4th Quarter!
October is the beginning of the 4th Quarter - Let's make the most of it!
This is a very important quarter for our company, as we have added two new sister companies to our family of brands. In this quarter only, if a stylist qualifies at the pay rank of Star Stylist in either October, November or December, she will be included in the "Founding Leader Bonus Pool" and be eligible to participate in the profit sharing incentives for these two new sister companies for the next two years. This is really "unheard" of in the direct-selling business plan and once again, Stella & Dot is leading the way in our compensation plans and ladder to success. If any of you would like to find that path to Star within these next 90 days - then we really need to talk and map out your plan. It can be done if you follow the steps and if you are motivated to promote yourself and your business. You just have to have a goal - and then we'll find a way to reach it.
That being said - I, too, have to reach the pay rank of Star Stylist in at least one of these next three months, and I will need this team to help me get there. The qualifications for being a Star Stylist is to personally sell $2,300/month, and have four qualified stylists (sell $500 retail), and have one "titled" leg of Associate Stylist or above. We collectively as a team must also sell $12,500 retail. So we've got our work cut out for us!!! Read on to see how we can get there!

Christina Welch has also started doing a Sunday night focus call for our team. I listened last Sunday night - it was short, concise and she gave great ideas on how to start off this biggest selling with success. Christina has been with S&D for 8 years (or more) and she has great words of wisdom about how to time-block your week, and really focusing on HVA (High Value Activities). She is going to make this a weekly call, and she is keeping it to 15 minutes - so it's do-able! If you can get on it - GREAT - it's a great exercise in getting your week properly blocked out. From Me (Barbie) - I would just like to encourage you, that even if you don't have plans to promote this quarter, signing up and being in this group and taking the challenges, WILL move your business forward. You can do as little or as much of the activities that work for you, and just see where it takes you. It can't hurt - but it sure can help you reach your goals.
Let's Talk About Your 90 Day Plan!
- Identify your GOAL - I've heard from several of you - It's paying for Christmas, it's paying off your credit card debt, it's paying for a vacation for your family. What is your goal?
- What is the dollar amount to reach your goal?
- State your goal - LOUD & PROUD - to anyone that it matters to. Tell your husband, your kids, your mom, your best friend - and let them know that it's important to you to reach your goals. When you do this - then you are holding yourself accountable, and they are giving you PERMISSION to reach for your goals by watching the kids, or understanding when you have to run out for a couple hours of "work" time.
- How can we break that down into workable hours for the next three months?
- Look at your schedule for the next three months - block out everything that is a "given" - birthdays, anniversaries, trips, kids games and practices, date nights, etc. Then REALISTICALLY look at what's left and identify days and times that you could realistically do a trunk show. Those are your dates available - Highlight them on your calendar and now, reach out to your customers to book for those dates. When you leave it up to them - it won't happen. They'll say "well let me look at my schedule and I'll get back to you" NO - that won't work. You are doing them a FAVOR by holding a trunk show with them, they are going to get tons of rewards, and get their girlfriends together for a fun night, and so you let them know which dates will work for you - and to pick one.
- And then fill your calendar! I like to bundle mine - Trunk shows are so much easier when you do them one right after the other. You're on a roll, you don't have to unpack - you just do one right after the other in a group. Then take a little time off. But whatever works for you is the key.
