9th grade ICAP Visits
LHS counselors will be visiting with all freshman sciences classes on
November 15th and 17th to discuss students Individual Career & Academic Plan (ICAP). Students will be able to work on their four year course plans as well as career goals. Students will also be asked to pick which of the three diplomas they want to pursue. After students choose, they will be allowed to change their mind if their plans change.

10th Grade ICAP Visits

Students will be able to work on their four year course plans as well as career goals. They will be able to revise their ICAP yearly should they choose to do so.
Missouri Boys & Missouri Girls State
The American Legion Boys State of Missouri and the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Missouri Girls State are statewide leadership and citizen training programs for students who have completed their junior year and have distinguished themselves as leaders in their school. Missouri Boys/Girls State is a 1 week summer experience on the campus of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO held
June 24 -July 1, 2023.

Volunteers Needed
Students are needed to be models for a cultural fashion show at the
LPS Cultural Enrichment Celebration on
November 30 at LNHS. The fashion show is sponsored by
Cultural Crossroads, an organization which honors the rich cultural diversity of our community. The fashion show's purpose is to bring awareness while giving credit to the culture behind each clothing item. Interested students may reach out to

Community Scholarship Program
Liberty Public School District is proud to bring back the Community Scholarship Program again this year!
The Community Scholarship Program is a program designed to provide seniors in our community with over 35 scholarship opportunities in 3 easy steps. We have partnered with some amazing organizations that want to help our Liberty High School and Liberty North High School seniors advance their education. Scholarships will be available to students who want to attend college and trade schools. The application opens

Local & Regional Scholarships continue to come in! Check your Naviance Account under the College Tab and select Scholarship Search to see what is available. You might set a reminder to check back each week! Remember Scholarships are available for many different reasons, not just merit based.
Grow Your Own Teacher Program
Applications are now available for the LPS Grow Your Own Teacher Program! The program is designed for students of color who will be graduates of the Liberty Public Schools and are interested in pursuing careers in education. Components of the program include: financial support, professional learning seminars, work experiences, mentor support and job placement upon successful completion of all requirements for teacher certification and criteria of the program. Career Center Shadows!
Sophomores & Juniors interested in attending one of our career centers next year can now sign up to shadow their program of interest! Shadows are required as part of the application process. Please see Mrs. Allison in the counseling center to set up a shadow. More information can be found on our website
HERE Schedule Changes
The second semester is quickly approaching!
All schedule change request forms are due by January 6 at 3PM. We are unable to change FLEX hours to accommodate requests. Schedules change requests are not guaranteed due to minimal course availability. Requests to switch teachers or hours for classes are unable to be accommodated.
LHS TUTORING OPTIONS
Teachers Visit with your teacher for their specific Tutoring availability. Typically before and after school during their contracted time.
Academic Labs during FLEX Time Sign up in your FLEX Manager for an Academic Lab!
Connect 30 Every Wednesday tutoring is available from 1:45-2:15pm. Check FLEX Manager to sign up in your needed content area.

Tutoring Club
Tutoring club is a free resource for students at LHS to get extra help or simply refine their skills through subject-certified student tutors. Sign up HERE.
