This weekend I enjoyed not one but TWO performances of Barbieri's Drama Club: 101 Dalmatians! It was spectacular! I brought my son with me and this morning he said to me, "Vamos a ver mas Dalmatas por favor."
CONGRATULATIONS to the phenomenal cast and a heartfelt THANK YOU to our parent volunteers who are committed to providing a space for our students to shine outside of academics in our bilingual drama program!
A very special thank you to Ms. Leah Moens, Ms. Emily DeGroat, Ms. Meghan Martin, Ms. Mickey Johnson and Ms. Sarah Combes for your dedication and leadership! This is our first show since SY 19-20 and just like you our hawks were eager to return to the stage and you made this happen even during a time where the pandemic continued to negatively impact our day to day lives. To ALL Parent volunteers who assisted with snacks, carpooling, communication, funding, tech support, backstage, etc. THANK YOU we could not do this without you!
As we really head into the spring season and trimester 3 this school year there are many upcoming events such as MCAS testing, grade 5 course requests at Walsh, Grade 1 Sage Screening updates, etc. Please read the bulletin thoroughly.
Que tengan un lindo domingo,
Maria

During testing ALL ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE PROHIBTED. This includes cell phones and apple watches, etc. Please be sure that you discuss with your child that if they chose to still bring these devices to school they will need to give these devices to their classroom teacher/testing proctor BEFORE testing begins and they will receive them AFTER the testing session has ended. This is a non-negotiable. If any device is set off (rings, vibrates, etc.) during testing we risk having to invalidate tests.
Thank you for all of your support at home and for understanding!

MORNING DROP OFF
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN ON THE SIDEWALK OR CROSSING DUDLEY ROAD ON THEIR OWN TO AVOID CARPOOL DROP-OFF LINE. THIS IS UNSAFE AND WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SUPERVISE THEM AS THEY WALK AND CROSS ON THEIR OWN. MANY FAMILIES HAVE BROUGHT THIS CONCERN TO US DURING DROP OFF HOURS.
If you are dropping your children off PAST 9:05AM you MUST PARK YOUR CAR AND WALK YOUR CHILDREN to door 1. We don't want our students walking across the parking lot alone.
Additionally, YOU MUST PARK YOUR CAR because the front of the school is fire lane for the fire department but it is also USED DAILY FOR OUR BUSES. Our late buses often pull into our school parking lot/driveway and are blocked by cars stationed at the front of the school with no driver inside the car. PLEASE PARK YOUR CARS AND WALK YOUR CHILDREN TO THE DOOR FOR SAFETY!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP AND
UNDERSTANDING!
