Design Challenge 1: Beginner Level
Scenario:
The holiday season is approaching and you want to make your own unique cookies as cheap gifts for your friends
Your Challenge:
Create a cookie press/stamp with your own unique design. Your design must include:
A circular base 4 inches in diameter
A raised original design in the center (do not violate copyright)
The design can be no taller than 5mm.
- The design must be backwards on the base in order for the design to make sense when pressed into the finished cookie

Scenario:
Matt Damon is lost in space (again). He has run out of his typical food supply but his space pod has a 3D printer.
Your Challenge:
Create a meal design for Matt Damon that can be emailed to him in space so that he can print it out in his 3D printer. Your meal must include
A main dish
Two sides
A drink
- Include these elements on a tray measuring 3x4 inches.

Scenario:
The Hulk has lost his arm in an epic fight against evil.
Your Challenge:
Design a prosthetic arm for the Hulk. It should not just replace his old arm, but should be an improvement in design. Your prosthetic arm must include:
An elbow
A hand
Muscles
An apparatus for attaching the arm to the body
Include these elements in a design that is no longer that 4 inches.
How to Participate
- Use Tinkercad (free account available online) or Sketchup (available on library computers) to create your design.
- Save your design to your student Google Drive and share it with Mrs. Schnacker (jschna1@neisd.net) by January 8th.
- Students will vote on the submissions and the winners will be printed and announced on January 15th.
