Hour of Code
Begin to learn how computer programming is done. Make sure to click "show code" to see what it actually looks like. Hour of Code
Click "SIGN IN"
top right corner
Find "GOOGLE" button
Make sure you click sign in with google- right side
*you will need to click "allow/accept"
**You will be required to put in your age and gender**
Find Section Code
At the bottom of the screen find "add teacher" this is where you put in your "SECTION CODE"
Classic Maze
We will do "CLASSIC MAZE" first!
Watch all the videos! These videos will help you understand what is expected & they will introduce new coding (new blocks) options that they are introducing.
GAME/PUZZLE
This will show you what you are programming, what it wants you to do is underneath game. When you select RUN it will do whatever code you have put in your workspace.
BLOCKS
Under this heading are your options. More difficult game will have more options. NOTICE the drop down arrows and white text boxes **these can all be changed**
WORKSPACE
Your workspace is where you connect your blocks of code. Notice at the top on purple toolbar it will tell you how many blocks are needed to complete the puzzle/game
WORKSPACE
Purple toolbar options- click "START OVER" and it will delete everything out of your workspace.
click "SHOW CODE" and it will show what coding looks like for a computer programmer.
Top Toolbar
Name of game you are on "classic maze" and what level you are on. Green dots mean the stage has been passed.
Completed Puzzle
Once you complete a puzzle- click "SHOW CODE" to see computer programming code (without blocks)

CERTIFICATE
Once all puzzles have been completed you will get a certificate- Enter your NAME and hit SUBMIT.
*Then SCREENSHOT your certificate and TURN IN ON GOOGLE-CLASSROOM*
