The More We Get Together
Getting ready for kindergarten
Dear Parents
Dear Parents,
We had very engaging discussions about our feelings. Our focus questions was: How do you feel about going to kindergarten? Some of their responses were showing their feelings. They said” happy, super happy, excited, and nervous”. We also used pictures of people exhibiting different emotions or interacting in different ways. After the activity, we invited children to share their feelings about the experience.
Kindergarten is a major turning point in the lives of children and parents alike. It is important to remember that early school experience has lasting effects on children in regard to their attitude about school, their self-esteem and their achievements. Fortunately, the best person to ensure that children arrive at school ready to succeed is you! Becoming involved in your children’s educational process early in life will assist them in making a smooth transition into kindergarten.
ARE YOU READY?
We are ready to show you our amazing end of the year ceremony. We were practicing so hard and you can see the kids talking about their special clothes and their end of the year show. They feel proud of themselves.
