September Library Challenge: A Busload of Books
I am so excited to announce that we will be continuing our monthly reading challenges this year! Reading challenges are a fun & engaging way to get your children reading at home and to read as a family. These challenges are so much more than a book log. Our reading challenges encourage students to read a variety of different genres, read with loved ones, read in different places and so much more!
Reminders:
- There is no need to complete every reading challenge if it doesn't work for your family that month. These are not required & are meant to be fun (not stressful).
- Please sign the challenge paper before your child returns it to Mrs. Duke in the library. Your signature confirms that the challenge was completed.
- Engage in dialogue with your kiddo about their reading choices. Ask them which books were their favorite and why. This may be something they want to read more of now.
- Please reach out to me (Mrs. Duke) if you have any questions.
Happy Reading!
