Military Culture
Beliefs
They believe in Honesty and being straight forward. Straightforwardness is usually necessary to promote public confidence and to ensure efficient conduct of operation. Truthfulness is required. Lies erode credibility and undermine public confidence. Loyalty is another big part of their beliefs. It requires careful balancing among various interests of harmony and cohesion.
Traditions (Uniform)
Service Cap: that is a cloth cap with a visor.
Officers Chin Strap: Part of the blue dress uniform.
Branch Color Ornamentation: Shows the Different Levels of branches each officer is in.
Light Blue Trousers: Was white but blue was more traditional.
Ways Of Life
They have a unique way of life in the military. They are tasked with maintaining a physical fitness so they are ready for deployment. They have a 10 week training course where they will learn basic tactical and survival skills and the basics of military customs. There are 3 fazes, the Red Phase, the White Faze, and the Blue Faze. Red Faze is when they make sure the recruits are mentally and physically prepared. The White faze is when they learn marksmen and learn more about skill. The Blue Faze they continue with their weapon training and do the night infiltration course.
Death Customs
When someone passes away their remains are packed inside an aluminum flag draped transfer case and transported by military cargo plane. When fallen troops return home they enter the U.S. through Dover Air Force Base. When they arrive they are greeted and transferred with great dignity on the way to the Force Mortuary Affairs Operations and family and others follow on foot.
What It Takes To Join The Military
You have to motivate yourself to work hard!
You have to keep your ind in the game and not doubt that you cant do something because it can lead to injury. You have to stay out of trouble, you also have to get screened for medical issues. you have to expect to get discipline!
