AVUHSD Honors 2020 Employees of the Year
Monica Marquez - Classified Employee of the Year
Antelope Valley High School nominated an employee that goes above and beyond for the students at AVHS. Monica connects with the students every day as the Pupil Service Technician and always makes sure they understand whatever they are being helped with – FAFSA, finding and applying for scholarships, and working through a college application. Ms. Marquez has always been a student advocate while being one of the most caring persons on the AVHS campus. Congratulations to Monica Marquez, AV High School’s 2020 Site-Level Classified Employee of the Year and the overall AVUHSD 2020 Employee of the Year.
Timothy Green - Teacher of the Year & Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year

Antelope Valley High School’s Coat Drive
Last week, Antelope Valley High School hosted a Coat Drive where over 200 coats, jackets, and hooded sweatshirts were distributed to our students, their families, and the surrounding community. The Lopes were honored to provide their community a warmer winter through the generosity of so many. Thank you to all those who donated and supported this day of service!
