Tech Talk
March 2018
Let's Collaborate!
I would love to talk with you (or your team!) about incorporating technology into your classroom in ways that are effective and meaningful for you and your students. Check out my instructional technology coaching menu, then stop by the tech bar, email me at paigeh2@norman.k12.ok.us, or sign up for a tech talk at a time that works for you.
If you're doing something cool in your classroom- technology related or not- I would love to know so I can come learn from you!

Student Charging
- We encourage students NOT to bring their chargers to school. The reason for this is that chargers often go missing at school, and we are not able to replace them. If a computer is charged overnight, and the student is using it for school related activities during the day, a full charge is more than enough to last the school day. If a student's computer is NOT making it through the school day, we'd be happy to have a conversation with them about what could be causing that.
- As previously stated. we are not able to replace chargers that are lost, stolen, or otherwise missing. We are also not able to loan chargers to students who have lost or forgotten theirs.
- Students CAN charge their computers in the charging cart. This cart is located at the tech bar, and it can hold around 30 computers. We use the cart on a first come, first serve basis. It is locked for security and only Anna and I have keys. Feel free to offer this as an option to students who need to charge during they day. The only drawback is that they DO have to leave their computer in the cart for an amount of time- usually a class period.
Please contact Paige or Anna if you have any questions about student charging!
