Love is in the Air
Valentine's Week ❣
We spent the week doing various Valentine's Day crafts/activities! We pieced together broken name hearts, painted with heart shaped sponges, and made valentine bags. We counted, matched, and sorted hearts by size. We also made cards for friends and snipped construction paper to make valentines for our parents. During circle time, we talked about different ways that you can show someone you love them. On Thursday, we passed out our valentines to all of our friends - thank you!
During speech, we read, "Valentine, Valentine, What are you Hiding?," and practiced prepositions by reading "Hearts on a Mailbox" and taking turns putting body parts on Mr. Potato Head. For P.E., we rode the cars and motorcycles on the toddler playground, and also worked on walking up and down stairs by putting one foot on each stair.
With our friends from Room 4, we played hide and seek, played turn-taking games, made pink play-doh, and went fishing at the water table outside. We got creative by pretending to be astronauts in outer space!!

- Please make sure to send your child to school with a water bottle, as it's getting quite hot and we want to make sure everyone stays safe and hydrated. If you have sunscreen that you'd like us to apply, just send it in with a note and we'll make sure to put it on before outside time.
- Don't forget, there will be NO SCHOOL NEXT WEEK!! ENJOY YOUR BREAK!!!!!
