Zeus
King of Gods, Lord of Sky's
Who is Zeus?
Zeus is in charge of all the gods and goddesses and is the god of the sky, he is mostly seen with a lightning bolt. Rumor has it is it was lightning outside, that the god was angry. He is the youngest with 5 siblings: Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera. Zeus is married to Hera (goddess of marriage) and they live on Mount Olympus . Ironically he had many affairs and had 92 children, some of the most famous of which were Hercules, Ares (God of war), Athena, Aphrodite (Goddess of love), and Artemis.
What did he do?
Zeus defeated his Father, Cronus the king if the Titans, in a battle (The Titanomachy) that took 10 years to finish. Cronus was a Titan who ate his children so they wouldn't be able to gain power over them, and the Titans were a deity that help power before the Gods and Goddesses. So Zeus wouldn't get eaten his mother, Rhea, gave Cronus a rock instead of the baby. To get his siblings out, Zeus was administered a drug to make Cronus vomit up the other children. Him and his five siblings, most known are Poseidon (God of the sea) and Hades (God of the underworld), fought through the Titanomachy and imprisoned the Titans to Tarturus. That's when he then assumed position of ruler.

Some people can take the Olympics as an allusion, when they open with the fireworks in the sky it means a sacrifice to Zeus and for him to bless the games.
