Yearbook Information
There's still time to purchase a yearbook for your child(ren). If you did not get a chance to purchase one online, you can buy one in person the week of Monday, June 5th through Friday, June 9th. They will be available for purchase. For primary students (Casa-6th Grade) they are available for $20 before school in the main office. If you would like to purchase a secondary yearbook (7th-9th grades) they are $25. Secondary students can purchase them during their lunch period at the finance window by the main office. We accept cash. We have a limited supply of yearbooks, so buy yours before they run out.
Notes from Dr. Guerrero, Instructional Coordinator of Language Acquisition
ELAC Meeting
All parents are welcome to join or attend ELAC meetings, although this parent leadership group focuses on supporting the needs and program improvements impacting our students classified as English Learners (we prefer to say emerging bilingual students 😊). Next month we will hear an overview of the LMEC’s School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). Thank you so much to the parents who sent me suggestions after the March and May meetings! Your suggestions have been forwarded on to leadership and are being incorporated into the school’s plan for next year.
WHEN: June 7TH @ 5:00 PM Zoom Link
Homework Help & Tutoring
All students are invited to go to the Logan Heights Library (situated right between the primary and secondary school buildings) to get free tutoring Monday-Thursday from 3-6 pm. There are three dedicated library tutors and snacks are provided! For extra language support, I have provided a packet of language lessons for the tutors to use if your child drops in. Please feel free to also email Angie Guerrero if you’d like a tailored curriculum to meet your child’s language needs! Aguerrero2@sandi.net
