Historic Museum Update
The Museum has a temporary exhibit tracing the history of Clarkdale's schools, including a slide show of the tragic fire that consumed the Middle School in May, 1983. On permanent exhibit are the original restroom signs from Matt and Eva's 10-12 Lounge which were donated by a Museum member and hung by a volunteer. The same volunteer expertly hung a terrific 1930s panoramic photo of the smelter. Come by on Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or Saturday 9 a.m. to noon to see these and other treasures.
Interested in preserving local history? Get involved with Clarkdale Historical Society and Museum. Volunteers and Board Members are needed. Go to clarkdalemuseum.org to join.
