From Mrs. Lewis...
The chocolate fundraiser kick-off has been rescheduled for WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10 at 2:00pm.
On Wednesday, we will follow the afternoon assembly schedule(**See above link**) to kick off our World's Finest Chocolate Sale. Be sure that students take home the permission slip. PTO will be in the conference room each morning for the next two weeks to give out chocolate and to collect money.
Regular Ed / Elective Teachers - Please be reminded that you should be familiar with your students IEP goals, modifications and accommodations. If a child has a BIP, you follow those steps if there are behavioral issues with the student.
Please make sure you are using the "Review of Accommodations" forms you received from the EC teachers. It is expected that the forms be turned in at the end of the nine weeks.
HR teachers, it is imperative that all Chromebook permission slips are returned and accounted for. Students that have a Chromebook in their possession, must have a signed AUP and permission slip. This should be a priority in the next few days of getting these forms back.
Teachers, please be aware that $13 was budgeted for students for field trips this school year. This total includes admission tickets, driver pay and mileage for the bus. Grade level chairs should multiply the $13 by the number of students in the grade level to get the grand total for field trip expense. Any amount over this allotment must be covered by the grade level.
Please be reminded that there should be no combustibles on classroom doors.
Congrats to our school for being recognized as a PBIS Model School. The School Board will recognize SHMS on Monday at 6pm at the board meeting.
Parent-Teacher Conference Sheets have gone home (October 11). Please collect appt times and submit a finalized list to the front office by Wednesday 3:00pm. Be sure your room is neat and tidy for conferences, along with chairs outside your door to accommodate parents/students. How will you welcome your parents? Dismissal at 12pm. (Please follow the early dismissal schedule above.) Snacks provided in the afternoon.

Be sure that you have EQ/Standard/Anchor Charts/and an interactive Word Wall Up in your classroom. Student work should be displayed in and out of class and an updated lesson plan should be in the correct folder.
