ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The Austin Community Foundation’s scholarship program provides additional opportunities to community members pursuing their educational goals. Since 1996, the Foundation has awarded $8.2 million in scholarships. Each year, we award approximately 300 scholarships totaling more than $600,000. A majority of our scholarships support students from Central Texas or students at local educational institutions. After completing the general application, each applicant is automatically matched to over 100 scholarship opportunities of which they qualify for. Some opportunities may ask you to answer additional questions.
Women of AT&T Austin Chapter Scholarship
Award: $1,000

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Current graduating high school senior (male and female) planning to enroll in a full-time (at last 12 hours per semester) undergraduate course of study at an accredited University, College, Junior College or Community College in the Fall of 2019.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Bill Dickey Golf Scholarship for Prospective College Students
Award: $14,000 for 4 years

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Student must be accepted to a college or university within the U.S.
• Student must be a U.S. citizen.
• Student must be a full time student, maintain a 2.5 GPA on a term and cumulative basis and submit an official transcript via U.S. mail no later than 30 days after each semester ends.
• Student is required to inform the BDSA of their academic standing, leadership achievements and progress on a semester basis (this information will be shared with the Board of Directors of both organizations).
• Student is required to submit a Scholarship Questionnaire annually for the purpose of identifying the school he or she will attend.
• Preference is given to students (s) attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
• Student must demonstrate need.

The Pedro Zamora Young Leaders Scholarship is open to all current high school seniors, and college freshman, sophomores and juniors (ages 27 and younger) who demonstrate an active commitment to end HIV/AIDS and taking on roles of public service and leadership.

Post Secondary College Scholarship - SILA Foundation
Award: (10) @ $2,500 each

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better.
• Be enrolled in one of the following areas of study: Business administration, Education, Finance or accounting, Insurance studies, Marketing, Mathematics.
• Be enrolled in a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours at an accredited post-secondary school; OR
• Be employed full-time and enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours at an accredited post-secondary school.

American Ground Water Trust Annual Scholarships
Award: $2,000-$3000

The scholarships are for entry level college students intending to pursue a career in the field of ground water. There are three different scholarships for those interested in a career in the field of ground water.

Cancer Support Scholarship: Youth Education Assistance for Cancer Survivors
Award: $5,000
Due: 5/1
The scholarship is designated for students who were diagnosed with cancer and whose disease and related treatments placed a significant financial burden on them and their families.
Scholarship recipients must furnish a letter of confirmation by a licensed physician as proof of their cancer diagnosis. Please note that this documentation will be required following the award notification and should not be submitted with the application.
Applicant must be a US citizen residing in the USA.
The recipient must demonstrate academic achievement through evidence of working to one’s potential and be accepted for admission at an institution of higher education, e.g. college, community college, university or vocational school. All grades must be substantiated by official documentation.

Bernard Harris Math and Science Scholarships

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Scholarship will be awarded to (2) Black and (2) Hispanic students currently completing their senior year of High School.

- Pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM).
