Our Counseling Team - This week and next week, they are meeting with our Seniors to go over the over their FAFSA and College of the Desert Applications!

Last two weeks they had a one on one meetings with every Freshman at DMHS to go over course requests for next year and to review their four year plan.

DMHS' New Wellness Center is Making a HUGE Difference! Janelle McDaniel is our new Wellness Teacher and Ray Amador is our new Native American Mentor. Ms. McDaniel has been with DMHS for the past four years supporting our students in multiple ways. She is highly trained in Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, and Xinachtli Circles. Ray Amador is a Wonderful mentor to our male students and is also highly trained in holding Joven Noble Circles. Welcome to the Team!

Gladys Young has rejoined the DMHS Team. Gladys worked for CVUSD for over 20 years and recently retired in June 2021. She missed the students, the staff, and the parent partnerships and camaraderie and we are excited to see her back! She is Loving being back on campus supporting the great Teamwork! Mrs. Young, Mr. Sandoval, and our Campus Safety are an AMAZING TEAM!!

Wednesday we held a Fantastic Drive Thru Celebration for our Rams that Hit 1st Semester High Academic Honors! The DJ, students, staff, and parents had so much fun celebrating all the hard work and accomplishments!
