Setting

The story mainly takes place in Marysville, New York. A few important places in the book are Mrs.Windermere's house and the Library. It's 1968-1969 here, no iPods, no wireless phones. All back in the olden days.

Summary

Doug Swieteck finds himself on a one-way ticket to Marysville, New York when his father gets a new job. Except the thing is, he doesn't want to go. When he arrives he faces crucial judgement. Especially when his own brother is accused of robbery. But he later finds a book of birds which takes him on an quest to get back the pages which are ripped out of the book and sold. If he can, he may make friends along the way.
