Teentober is here, and this year, they die at the end!
Teentober is a Quad Cities Library mixed media competition for ages 11-19. The theme is “They Die at the End”.
The contests include a reading challenge, a writing competition, a visual arts competition, a short video contest, and a long video contest. The winner of each contest will win a $50 Visa Gift Card at our Teentober Red Carpet Award Ceremony on November 14th at the Putnam Museum.

Friends of RVDL Meeting

The Friends of the River Valley District Library is a non-profit group that is dedicated to helping the library make information and knowledge accessible to the communities it serves. Funds are generated by memberships, book sales, gifts, and grants.
The Friends meet on the first Thursday of each month, breakfast at 9:45am and the meeting at 10am, at the library. Friends members are people like you who believe in and support public libraries. Would you like to join us?
Bunco with Friends
Wednesday Oct. 11th at 1PM
Bunco is a social dice game, traditionally played with 12 players who are divided into three tables with four players at each table. Really, though, almost any number can play. Bunco games are known for getting noisy and rowdy with all the socializing, dice rolling, friendly competition, and celebrating! It's a gaming event that brings people together again and again in a spirit of fun and friendship.
