Curriculum Updates and Activities
Weekly Math Update
Our geometry unit continues with clock skills, telling time to 5 minutes. Please practice at home with your kids if possible, using scratch paper, a white board or wipe-off clock of some kind.
Weekly Science Update
Science:
This week we're studying clouds such as: cumulus, stratus, cumulonimbus and cirrus. The kids made posters today using cotton for clouds.
Weekly Reading and Writing Update
Reading and Writing: Students are enjoying learning about realistic fiction--stories that have characters who usually undergo changes. A problem or conflict makes the plot more exciting, and it's usually resolved in the end. Students are planning their stories this week.
