Kindergarten Readiness Program
Ready Set Kindergarten, (RSK) is a preschool program we created to help 4 and 5 year old children prepare for kindergarten. RSK meets the first three Tuesdays, in the program center at Sunset Hill Farms, beginning in October and runs through May. We have two classes,on in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and on in the afternoon from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a drop off program but we love parent volunteers. The cost of RSK is $80.00 per year, plus an additional start up fee of $12. Parents may make payments of $10 a month if they wish. RSK has provided many families with a preschool they can afford when they thought they could not send their child to preschool. Many families use RSK as a supplement to the preschool programs they currently have their children enrolled in to provide four days of school. If you are interested, contact Dana Hamady, the Parent Educator for the Parents As Teachers Program of Porter County, at momcando@frontier.com or 242-1021.
