CHRISTMAS CONCERT TICKETS
Tickets will start to go on sale on Monday, November 20th at 7:30 am in the Auditorium. The cost is $10 per ticket in cash or cheque. We do not accept credit cards as a form of payment. (After Monday, November 20th tickets will be sold directly from the Office between 8 am - 4 pm).
This year the selling of tickets will follow a different format. There will be three tables set up to sell tickets, one designated for each night on the concert. You will get in the line for the night that you wish to purchase tickets for. If you are buying tickets for multiple nights then you will have to move over into the next night’s line and get served after the person that is currently being served. We are hoping that this will move the lines along more swiftly.
Please enter through the Pedestrian Gate on Washington Street. This will give easier access to the Auditorium.

MS Homework Schedule 2017-18
In an effort to keep the subject and work load more balanced for students, middle school teachers have come up with the following homework schedule for core subjects. If a subject teacher assigns homework for the week, they will always do their best to assign it on the day listed below.
Any homework is in addition to the 30 minutes of nightly reading required by each middle school student. Daily math practice is also strongly recommended. However, if students don’t use class time effectively then they will be expected to complete class work at home. This can happen any night.
Regular study and review of class notes and materials is another important part of being a successful student as in many subjects there are cumulative tests, midterm exams, unit tests, etc. Organizing notes and materials and making flash cards are examples of strategies that students can use to study for tests.
Monday: ELA
Tuesday: Socials
Wednesday: Science
Thursday: Math
Note: From time to time, specialist subjects such as French, Spanish, Bermuda Studies and Religion may assign work to be done at home. Every effort will be made to ensure that students have plenty of time to plan accordingly.

The Department of Health and the Department of Education Partnership for Healthy Schools has designated November 15th as Reusable Container Day. As MSA moves to becoming an Eco School, we would like to encourage our students to participate in this day. Students are asked to bring their lunches and drink in reusable containers. Students with La Trattoria hot lunch are asked to bring a reusable container as well.
Please help us make MSA more environmentally friendly and reduce our carbon footprint.
