BCPS Summer Learning Hike

As most of us are switching into summer mode, parents are curious about how to continue supporting their students while schools are out. Every year BCPS has offered a summer learning program and this year we have extended that opportunity to every student. With our optional Summer Learning Hike (SLH), all students have access to one of 3 adaptive online learning tools to review reading and math during the 2 month break.
NEW THIS WEEK: An SLH tile has been added to BCPSOne for parents. BCPSOne users now will have streamlined access to information such as SLH tutorials and links to the live Google Meets tutoring options for students who need extra support.

What is Parent University?

Parent University is offered through the BCPS Office of Family and Community Engagement, which we affectionately call FACE! We provide tools and resources to BPCS families to support learning at home. In the past, before social-distancing, one of the ways we offered these resources was through in-person workshops hosted by community members and schools. We also have a large collection of online resources that are available as we navigate through this incredibly unique time in our lives. We hope you enjoy what we have to share.
