Teach Elementary Students About The Universe & Its Components
You are going to write and publish your own children's book to teach elementary students about the Universe and its components.
- Use your notes and select high-impact graphics/pictures to accompany your information.
- Remember to give credit to your sources!
- You need at least 10 different sections to your book, so be thorough.
- Use the resources provided below or get permission to use anything beyond those resources provided.
Apps You Can Use:

This is the app you will use to create your book.
Create an account using your school Google account.
Use your iBoss password.

Once you are done with your book, follow these directions:
- Click the Share Square.
- Select to email the book to yourself.
- Open your email and click on the link to read your book online.
- Copy this link to post to your class project Padlet.

Want to create your own illustrations? This app is for you! Once you are done with your creation, you will need to take a screenshot which saves it to the camera roll.

If You Use Google Images...
- It's important to select SEARCH TOOLS, then USAGE RIGHTS.
- Select LABELED FOR NONCOMMERCIAL REUSE. This will provide the most options that are legal to use.
- Looking for a specific color? Click on the COLOR option.
