- Cut the stem with a sharp knife at a 45 degree angle. The cutting should be about 3-6 inches long.
- Remove the bottom set of leaves and dip the end into rooting gel.
- Place the cutting into a small pot of vermiculite, perlite, or other soilless potting mix.
- Poke a small hole in the growing medium before placing the cutting into it.
- Keep your new plant in warm and bright light so that it can start developing roots.
