1882- Born Adeline Virginia Stephen and lives in London with parents very invested in the lit and intellectual scene

1895-Mother, Julia, dies and Virginia exhibits her 1st major depressive episode

1897-Her half sister, Stella (who ran the household), dies

1904- Virginia's father died of stomach cancer which causes a huge mental breakdown and she is institutionalized for a while before moving to Bloomsbury.

1905- Starts writing as a contributor to the literary times supplement

1910- Bloomsbury troop starts meeting

1912- Married to Leonard Woolf

1915- Publishes first novel, "The Voyage Art"

1917- Began Hogarth Press publishing business

1941- Dies by committing suicide due to mental instability
