Family Religious Education Program
2020-21 Catholic Community of Flint FREP Survey
Planning for the 2020-21 Year of FREP in The Catholic Community of Flint
As we look toward fall, the FREP Core Planning Team is working closely with Father Tom Firestone, guided by changing state orders and information from scientists when thinking about the coming year of FREP. Ironically, the FREP program was founded on a "home-school," "distance learning" concept with parents being the primary teachers of our faith at home. Future success of the program is rooted in this humble beginning.
As options are considered for the 2020-21 monthly meetings of FREP, it is also important for the FREP Team and Father Tom to hear from you. Of course, all state and diocese guidelines will be followed, regarding safe and healthy participation which includes social distancing and use of face masks supporting suppression of the spread of the virus.
At this time, we are asking all of the 2019-20 families who participated in FREP to complete a very short survey to guide planning. Please click on the button below to complete the survey created to guide planing. If families have additional thoughts about FREP beyond what is asked in the survey, please contact Maureen Kelsey, Director of Religious Education for The Catholic Community of Flint at sjvparishflint@yahoo.com
