East Middle School
Parent Newsletter: May 17th
A Note From the Principal
Dear East Middle School Students, Parents, and Guardians:
Only a few more weeks of school, but we are not counting down! Our summer just won't be the same without the students around!
We've got some good nuts and bolts details within the newsletter, so make sure to review it! Before you scroll down, please see these important reminders:
- Power Play permission slips have been sent home with your child, if they qualify, through science classrooms. They are due back by Monday. We will be looking at the final cut off requirements on Monday afternoon for grades and tardy/ hall conduct cards.
- Yearbooks will not be passed out until May 25th, in time for the yearbook signing. Students not present on the 25th will need to pick up their yearbook from the EMS office from May 29th through June 15th.
- Friday, May 25th is the last day of school for the year. It is a half day and school ends at 11:50AM. Lunch will not be served.
Is your student performing in the talent show on May 25th? Do you want to take part in the audience?
- Talent show performance for 6th/7th graders will be from 8:30AM to 9:40AM.
- Talent show performance for 7th/ 8th graders will be from 10:00AM to 11:10AM.
Check in to the EMS office for a visitor's sticker when you come for the talent show.
Thank you for all you do for the EMS community!
Sincerely,
Katie Campbell
