Snow Problem!

In the event of inclement weather, SCSD2 may need to call a 2-hour delay or call school off altogether for the safety of our students. If a 2-hour delay is called, Vienna-Finley will be open at 7:30 AM for students that must be dropped off early. Please also be patient with bus drivers as routes may be delayed due to snow and ice.

If school is cancelled, the YMCA program at VFES, and all school activities, events and practices will also be cancelled to ensure the safety of all of our students and staff.

SchoolMessenger calls will be sent out in the event that there is a change in schedule. That call could be made at night or early in the morning, so please check your phones often when weather is bad.

Please keep your contact numbers updated in the school office and listen to I105.3 for school closings as well.

Do YOU Want to Build a Snowman?

Well if you do, Vienna-Finley is the place for YOU! Our fabulous PTO is sponsoring a grade competition instead of by class this time. The theme is "Do you want to build a snowman?" They are going to offer an extra (snowball fight) recess to the grade that brings in the most box tops. Let's see if we can bring in more Box Tops than ever before for this competition!
