Principal's Message
I hope everyone enjoyed a restful Thanksgiving with family and friends. We have three weeks filled with activities at East Hampton High School until our next vacation. Please consider attending one of the many winter sports contests and holiday activities that will take place during the month of December. We will kick off the holiday season on Saturday, December 7 with our annual Breakfast with Santa. When we return from the holidays our school year will be nearly halfway finished. If you have any academic concerns, please make sure that you are in touch with your child's teacher and school counselor.
If you are looking for another way to stay on top everything that is happening at EHHS, please follow me on Twitter: @EH_CTPrincipal.

School Counseling Update
Junior Post Secondary Planning Night is coming up on January 14th (Snow Date - January 16th) in the Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. We hope to see everyone there!
Any interested juniors or seniors interested in taking the February 8th ACT needs to sign up at actstudent.org by January 10th.
Mrs. Catlin and Ms. Malcolm would like to have the majority of seniors remaining applications wrapped up by the end of this month.
These are a few reminders for college bound seniors:
- If your senior already applied to colleges, please note that we will automatically send MP 1 grades once after all report cards are mailed home. You do not need to request that.
- Please make sure that all students are sending their SAT & ACT scores directly from the testing websites. Processing takes approximately 2-3 weeks.
- Be sure to provide teachers & counselors 3 weeks notice prior to your deadline to write letters of recommendation.
- Lastly, it is the students responsibility to turn in their transcript request to their counselor at least a week ahead of their deadline so that the counselors can ensure that all pieces are ready to go.
